A STUDENT has been tormented by perverts after her Instagram name appeared on a phone in the hit movie Jumanji.
Character Bethany Walker — whose video game avatar is played by Jack Black in the fantasy film — is seen sending selfies from her mobile in one scene.
The owner of the real @bethanywalker Instagram account has received unwanted advances
But Bethany Walker, 22, from Camberwell, South London, has the same Instagram username.
And now sex pests have latched onto her account after seeing the movie.
Fed-up Bethany emailed makers Sony to cut her name from the phone scene before Jumanji — which also stars “The Rock” Dwayne Johnson — goes on DVD and digital release next month.
She has yet to receive a response.
The advertising and marketing student said: “I’ve had hundreds of unwanted messages and took it in good heart at first.
But now I’m getting pictures and messages from perverts and it’s gone beyond a joke.
“I had guys who’d seen my name in the film say they wanted to **** me and another saying he was sending me a message while watching porn.
"But the final straw came when I got a picture of a stranger’s penis, which is obviously upsetting.”
Bethany added: “Sony should make changes to stop this and I think I should be compensated for the distress.”
Sony was not available to comment.
