A MAN strangled his wife with a Tesco bag when she stopped four years of IVF over his gay flings, a jury heard yesterday.
Mitesh Patel, 37, allegedly aimed to cash in on Jessica’s £2million life policy and go to Australia with the planned baby and a male lover.
His web searches included “effects of being choked”, a murder trial was told.
The pharmacist allegedly sped up his plans when Jessica, 34 — who wed him in 2009 — said she was ending IVF over his continued use of gay dating app Grindr.
He allegedly tipped off his lover about his ruse by texting: “Hi baby. Ten days.”
Patel, of Middlesbrough, denies murder and claims a burglar was the culprit.
The Teesside crown court trial goes on.
