ARSENAL’S stars do NOT want Mikel Arteta to replace Arsene Wenger as their next manager.
The Manchester City coach has been lined up as a potential replacement for the under-fire Gunners chief.
Wenger is expected to leave the Emirates this summer after 22-years following a disastrous campaign.
But some members of the Arsenal dressing room do not want Arteta to come in and take over.
The 35-year-old is understood to not be popular in North London after five-years at the club.
He is accused of being arrogant and thought highly of himself during his Gunners spell.
Meanwhile, Sean Dyche is well thought of at Arsenal as he closes in on a top ten Premier League finish with Burnley.
But Thierry Henry is not under consideration for the job, despite indicating he would be prepared to take it.
The Gunners legend said: “If you love a place and they ask for help, you are always going to say yes.”
